Bouldering in Toohey (QLD) with ClimbingQTs and Pinnacle Sports

This year ClimbingQTs in partnership with our friends at Pinnacle Sports, went on a bouldering adventure to Toohey Forest Crag! This introduction to the wonders of outdoor bouldering was fully guided, with equipment provided and allowed for ClimbingQTs attendees to meet other outdoor enthusiasts and test their skills out on real rock.

Perfect for those ClimbingQTs who were unsure about how to transition from climbing indoors to going outdoors, this specially curated Toohey Forest sesh offered an incredible opportunity to conveniently explore a variety of bouldering areas that offered a mixture of styles. From 7:30am to 10:30am awesome Pinnacle Sports guides walked QTs through to a few prime bouldering locations, , taught us how to keep our friends safe as they climbed (spotted) as well as helps QTs build the confidence to jump on and off the rock without needing to harness up. Focusing on short climbs that offered a combo of physical and mental challenges, ClimbingQTs attendees had heaps of fun with the guides at Pinnacle Sports who–

with close to 20 years of experience in the field–work closely with Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) and other management organisations to ensure that their outdoor activities are fully permitted and environmentally sound.
